Fact of the Day

Dinosaurs in Antarctica
It was warmer in the cretaceous period, and Antarctica was still connected to Australia. This made a climate at the South Pole unlike any that exists today. You still needed to be hardy to survive the 6 month long night but creatures like Glacialisaurus and Morrosaurus roamed the polar forests.
Big Appetites
The biggest meat eating dinosaurs were some of the largest predators that the world has ever seen. Spinosaurus, for example, was 15m in length and weighed as much as 10 tons. Just imagine how many sausages it would eat for its supper!
