All about the Universe

Did you know that the dinosaurs died out because of something that came from outer space? A huge meteor that landed in the Gulf of Mexico 65 million years ago. The explosion was so powerful that it sent dust and rocks whizzing through the atmosphere. These rocks then fell back to Earth as molten lava. The dinosaurs didn’t stand a chance. Other animals like pterosaurs, ichthyosaurs, ammonites and sea monsters (I’m not joking, there really were monsters in the seas at that time) also perished. But mammals, fish, crocodiles and some amphibians somehow managed to survive.
